Enjoy the experience of a lifetime with all that Camp Aspen/Snowmass has to offer in the summer. Camp Aspen/Snowmass provides a fun, dynamic environment and offers combinations of activities with daily and weekly programs available for ages 1 year through teens. Activities include mountainboarding, skateboarding, paintball, mountain biking fishing. theme and nature days, horseback riding, swimming and a variety of activity combinations make this a must-do summer adventure camp.

Camp is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 3 - September 3, 2010 and Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 26 - August 13, with drop-off locations in Snowmass and Aspen. Flexible scheduling is available by appointment.



Camp Aspen/Snowmass offers the following summer programs:


Cubs (Ages 1-2)

This special age group will get to experience all that the Treehouse has to offer!  Mornings offer hands on activities, crafts, story telling, games.  Rest time will be provided for all children followed by and afternoon of fun in the Alpine Climb Room.

Jr. Base Camp (Ages 3-4)
Three-year-olds join nature play groups while four-year-olds experience field trips to Hallam Lake and the gondola on Aspen Mountain, as well as walk-around horse rides and theme days.

Base Camp (Ages 5-10)
Base campers participate in a variety of activities including theme days, crafts, bungy trampoline, climbing wall & gondola rides.  Field trips include swimming, ice skating, hiking and more!

Adventure Camp (Ages 5 - teens)
Children can create their own exciting adventures. They'll have a great time combining activities such as paintball, mountainboarding, mountain biking and skateboarding.


Specialty Programs & Clinics

Private Summer Adventures  
Build your own adventure for kids, adults and families. Select from mountain biking, mountainboarding, fishing, skateboarding, paintball and more. Three-hour and six-hour adventures are offered. Call (970) 923-TREE or 970-923-8733 for reservations.

NEW!  Teen Rock & Roll Camp
This is  your chance to rock with Camp Aspen Snowmass!  Students will learn the basics of guitar, bass and drums in a small group setting at the Treehouse.

  • Daily afternoon sessions for Teens - ages 13-17 years
  • Adult & family sessions available with advanced reservations
  • All instruments provided (or bring your own)
  • Offered Monday - Thursday, July 5 - August 13 with a FREE concert at 5:00pm on Thursdays

Dirt Dawg Camp & Mountainboard Competition
Kids ages 6- 16 will have a chance to train with the best!  Mountainboard pros Jereme Leafe and Kody Stewart will be leading a three-day training camp followed by a fun mountainboarding competition.  

  • Pro Camp Dates:  July 21 - July 23
  • Mountainboard Competition - July 24
  • 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Rocket Camp (Ages 4-10)
Campers study, build, design and launch their own rockets during this two- or three-day series.

Ladies' Morning Out!
Want to get in shape this summer? Join us for two hours of hiking and strength conditioning at 10,000 ft. and/or experience the adventure of mountain biking with our highly qualified pros on some of the country's best trails.  Progression based instruction in a supportive atmosphere for all abilities!

Boot Camp / Hiking & Strength Conditioning

  • Where: Top of Elk Camp Gondola
  • When:  Wednesdays & Fridays - beginning June 23, 2010
  • Time:    10:30a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Fees:    $39  (The fee does not include Gondola access)

Ladies Mountain Biking Adventures

  • Where:  Top of Elk Camp Gondola
  • When:    Saturdays - beginning June 26, 2010
  • Time:     10:30a.m. - 12:30p.m.
  • Fees:     $39 (The fee does not include bike rental or gondola access)


Mountain Biking Adventures - Snowmass Mountain
Experience the adventure of Mountain Biking with the only lift serviced biking available in the Roaring Fork Valley Highly qualified mountain bike pros will guide you on some of the countries best trails. Progression based instruction in a fun atmosphere. Beginner to expert riders ages 16 and up.

  • When:  Tuesdays & Thursdays - beginning June 22, 2010
  • Time:   10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Fee:     $39 (The fee does not include bike rental or gondola access)

What do I do with my kids?
Full and Half-Day Daycamp activities are available for children ages 3 -12 years through Camp Aspen/Snowmass.  Babysitting can also be arranged for 8 weeks- 3 years upon request and availability. Reservations are required 72 hours in advance for these groups.
