Company Information / Employment Opportunities / Housing

Below are descriptions of apartments owned by Aspen Skiing Company. In the winter, these apartments are restricted to full time Aspen Skiing Company employees. Priority is given to employees who work in Lift Operations, Children's Ski School (Daycare), Food and Beverage, Rental/Retail, Ticketing, The Little Nell, and The Snowmass Club. Employees in other departments may be considered for housing if there is a special business need and apartments are available. It is up to the division manager to make that decision and to offer housing to winter tenants.

Apartments are assigned by department managers to a property that are closest to the employee's job, if possible.  However, it's not unusual for employees that work in Aspen to be assigned housing in Snowmass Village at Club Commons Apartments.  Snowmass Village is a short commute to Aspen.

A  damage deposit (bond) of $500, a non-refundable $50 administrative fee and a completed lease are required prior to move-in and to hold a room. The deposit is refundable if the apartment is returned at the end of the lease in the same condition as when it was rented and there are no outstanding charges.  Deposits are usually refunded within 4 weeks after the employee vacates.

Upon move-in, the 1st month's rent must be paid in full before moving into the apartment. All leases are for a minimum of 5 months.

Winter employees who are staying less than five months are required to fulfill their 5 month lease payment obligation, even though they won't be in the apartment.  Other housing opportunities are available in the area. The Aspen/Pitkin County Housing Office is a great resource. The website address is www.aspenhousingoffice.com and the phone number is 970-920-5050.  The Aspen Times is also a great resource at  www.aspentimes.com

In the summer, leases also require a 5 month committment.  Summer housing is assigned directly through the employee housing department. There is no need to go through a department manager.

Please contact Aspen Skiing Company's housing office directly at housingoffice@aspensnowmass.com or call 970-922-9001.
