Aspen/Snowmass is nestled in the picturesque Roaring Fork Valley, 220 miles from Denver via highways I-70 and Colorado 82. The resort is easily accessible from two of the most convenient mountain airports - Aspen/Sardy Field and Eagle County Regional Airport.

Air Transportation

New flights and new jets are the big news for travel to Aspen/Snowmass this winter. Both United and Delta Airlines have added direct flights from new destinations this winter. Both United and Delta will fly the new CRJ700, a more comfortable, quiet aircraft. New direct flights for this winter include Chicago/O’Hare, San Francisco and Salt lake City. Travelers from Europe, South America and Australia will find these flights add great convenience for one-stop connections into Aspen/Snowmass.

With nearly 150 nonstop and connecting flights each week to Aspen/Snowmass, you can start from either coast and be here in half a day, give or take.

Two Convenient Airports Aspen/Pitkin County Airport is located 3-miles/4.8 km from the town of Aspen. Eagle County Regional Airport is located 70 miles/113 km from Aspen. With nearly 150 flights weekly into Aspen/Pitkin County Airport and flights from 14 cities on five major airlines into Eagle County Regional Airport, only an hour-and-fifteen-minutes away, Aspen/Snowmass is one of the most accessible Rocky Mountain resorts.

Two airlines offer direct service into Aspen/Pitkin County Airport: America West Express - between Phoenix and Aspen and United Express - from Denver, Los Angeles, Chicago/O’Hare and San Francisco. Service into Eagle County Regional Airport is provided by six airlines in the winter.

Ground Transportation

Bus, Limousine and Van Service Scheduled and chartered services are available from Denver International Airport, Grand Junction's Walker Field Airport and Eagle County Regional Airport. It is recommended that ground transportation be arranged prior to your arrival.

Train Service - The California Zephyr, which connects Chicago to Oakland, California, is available from cities across the nation to Glenwood Springs (40 miles from Aspen).
