First Tracks
Join our staff for an early morning first run of the day on freshly groomed snow or powder! Space is limited. Advance reservations and valid lift ticket/season pass required.
Snowmass – Be the first to enjoy newly groomed or fresh powder before the mountain officially opens for the day. Complimentary and available to upper-level intermediate skiers and snowboarders, ages 11 and up. Offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning in mid-December. To reserve, call 970-923-0560.
Aspen Mountain – First Tracks on Aspen Mountain is offered to those in Private Lessons/Guided Experiences with the Ski & Snowboard Schools and to those guests staying in one of our Aspen Skiing Company lodging properties. Please contact your Pro or your lodging property to reserve.

What To Expect
First Tracks at Aspen Mountain:
- Reservations can only be made 24 hours in advance (8am the day before). Please reserve through your Private Lesson/Guided Experience Pro or your Aspen Snowmass lodging property.
- Need to be a Level 7 or above skier/snowboarder
- Meet at gondola base at 8 am with boots on and skis/snowboards
First Tracks at Snowmass:
- Reservations must be made in advance and space is limited
- Reservations can be made up to one week in advance and are limited to once per month
- Maximum number of spaces per reservation is 2
- Guests must have a reservation and valid lift pass and be ready to load to the Elk Camp Gondola at 8am
- Late arrivals or guests without a reservation cannot be accommodated
- Need to be a Level 7 or above skier/snowboarder
