Preparing for the Weather
Because of our elevation and dynamic landscape, weather can change quickly in the summertime in Aspen Snowmass. We recommend packing layers, including a raincoat, and checking the weather forecast before your trip and every day you’re here. Below is a snapshot of the current forecast.
Maroon Bells
Visiting Maroon Lake and the iconic twin summits of Maroon Bells in the summer is a Colorado rite of passage. Because of its popularity, the main access is via shuttle bus, and the road it closed to personal vehicular traffic during designated hours.
Plan ahead to reserve your space on the shuttle.
Take the Aspen Pledge
Please join us in recreating responsibly to protect and preserve the landscape we’re lucky enough to play in, and to help our unique community flourish for years to come. Learn more about the Aspen Chamber Resort Association’s Aspen Pledge.
