Sources for the 2024 Aspen One Sustainability Report

A deep dive into some of the sources—including essays, podcasts, news stories, peer-reviewed studies, scientific data, and beyond—informing our 2024 Sustainability Report.

We released our first Sustainability Report in 1999. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to combatting climate change is stronger than ever. In the 2024 report, we’re asking hard questions about ourselves and the systems in which we operate.

Our 2024 Sustainability Report is designed to be engaging and interactive. As you read it, you’ll be able to expand upon the ideas presented by simply scanning the QR code within the report—because we didn’t just make this stuff up.

We reject the status quo and view conventional sustainable business practices—carbon footprinting, operational tweaks as systemic fixes, fixating on net zero—as complicity. Instead, we are focused on modeling solutions, expanding our influence, convening leaders on sustainability to upend the current model and have a more meaningful impact, and spreading the word to double down on the fight against climate change.
