Locals Pass & Clinics

Meet like-minded local skiers and riders for a variety of clinics this winter. From beginner clinics to days structured around improving technique to learning new lines, gain confidence on new terrain.

Dates: Dates differ based on clinic. See below for clinic information and calendar.
Time: 10am to 3pm
Age & Ability: Ages 18 & up. All ability levels, see descriptions below.
Reservations: Required for clinics.
Meeting Locations: Snowmass: Base Village Plaza, Aspen Mountain: Top of Silver Queen Gondola, Aspen Highlands: Merry-Go-Round, Buttermilk: Bottom of Summit Express. Please arrive at meeting locations 15 minutes prior to start and look for the "Locals Clinic" flag at each location.

Beginner and Intermediate

Beginner to Intermediate (Green to Blue Zone) Ski & Snowboard

Whether you are a first-timer or a novice, learn to ski or snowboard in no time with Pros specifically trained in Beginner's Magic™ progression.

Intro to Park and Pipe

Intermediate to Expert (Blue to Black Zone) Ski & Snowboard

This coaching session prepares the advanced skier and/or rider to begin in the park and pipe focusing on terrain park etiquette and fundamental body alignment.

Womens Only

Intermediate to Advanced (Blue to Black Zone) Ski & Snowboard

Have a blast challenging yourself in a comfortable, yet exciting environment, improving aspects of skiing and riding.

Bumps and Steeps

Introduction clinic available at Buttermilk (Green Zone). Intermediate to Advanced clinic available at Aspen Mountain and Aspen Highlands (Blue to Black Zone). Ski Only.

Challenge your skiing ability by working on the mechanics and tactics of navigating bumps and steeps.

Telemark

Beginner Telemark (Green Zone)

Prepare for those backcountry hut trips or just try something new! Beginners will learn the necessary basics and intermediate to expert telemarkers will focus on big-mountain techniques, bumps to steeps to trees.

Highland Bowl Expedition

Advanced (Black Zone) Ski & Snowboard

The Highland Bowl experience is worth every hike. Ski and ride the Bowl with other locals as you work on your technique in the steeps and deeps.

Intro to Racing

Intermediate to Advanced (Blue to Black Zone) Ski Only

This clinic will introduce you to the basics of gate training and carving and how that can help your all-mountain skiing.

Helmet and googles are required to participate.

Double Diamond Expeditions

Black zone, Ski & Snowboard – Snowmass Only
Expeditions are designed to give advanced and expert skiers and riders a chance to discover some of the mountain's famous expert terrain with experienced, energetic Pros.

Uphilling

Intermediate to Advanced (Blue to Black Zone) Skiing & Snowboarding, Buttermilk

Experience the joy of the mountain from the bottom up! This one day clinic will cover everything from uphilling etiquette and policies, to how to use alpine or splitboard gear and travel up efficiently.
