What to wear:
- Moisture-wicking top
- Chamois-padded shorts (Recommended for 3-day Mountain Bike Camp)

What to bring:
- Mountain bike –Kids are welcome to bring your own mountain bike, but renting from Four Mountain Sports comes with the added advantage of having the bike properly fitted for your child's size. Please note that disc brakes are required for downhill camps (no kick stands or coaster brakes). Bikes must be in good working condition. Coaches will inspect at check in to ensure they meet safety standards. A dropper or a quick-release seat post is recommended.
Downhill Bike Camp and Private Bike Lessons: Disc brakes are required for Downhill Bike Camp. A dropper or quick release seat post is recommended for lift served biking.
3-day mountain bike camp: All campers are required to have a bike with gears, hand brakes, no kick stand, and quick release seat post. If a more advance level the kids need disc brakes. Bike must be in good working condition and will be inspected at check in.
For questions regarding what bikes are okay for any programs please email us at summeractivities@aspensnowmass.com and we can assist.
If a camper does not have their own bike that meets the above requirements we have rentals available at Four Mountain Sports. Please reach out to our team and we can help reserve the correct bike for your camper. Please note, if renting for the 3-day Mountain Bike Camp, a week long rental picked up on Sunday is highly recommended.
- Helmet – Helmets required for all participants. A full face helmet is required while riding intermediate terrain and higher or for any jumping skill progression. Half shell helmets may be worn on Beginner and Green rated trails. If you are unsure which helmet to wear we recommend a full face helmet. Helmets are available to purchase or for rent at Snowmass Base Village - Four Mountain Sports.
- Sunglasses or goggles – Sunglasses are required for the 3-day mountain bike camp.
- Hydration pack or water bottle – 3-day mountain bike camp requires a hydration pack or backpack that can carry a lunch.
- Bike tube replacement (if you are bringing your own bike).
Additionally, for the Downhill and 3-day Mountain Bike Camp, we require a trail-appropriate lunch. The 3-day mountain bike camp will carry their lunch in their backpack.
