The Anon Aspen Snowmass Junior Freeride returns to Aspen Highlands this March. Big mountain skiers ages 12 to 18 look to tackle this iconic venue as part of the Rocky Mountain Freeride Series.

Mountain: Aspen Highlands
Area: Highland Bowl Run: Y1 (Filip’s Leap) & Y2 (Whip’s Veneration)
To access the venue take the Exhibition lift to the Loge Peak lift. Go straight off the Loge Peak lift to signs for the Highland Bowl. If conditions allow the bowl passenger cat will be running continuously. The cat picks up on the left just before the incline on the ridge starts and it drops just before the competition venue. To return to the venue, ski to the bottom of the bowl and take the Temerity lift which will drop you back at the bowl entrance. The hike from the bowl entrance to the venue takes roughly 10-15 minutes.

8:00am – Athletes & Coaches Meeting (Base of Exhibition Lift)
8:15am – Lift Load (Exhibition Lift) 9am-10am - Final Venue Inspection 10:30am – Competition

Planning Information
LIFT TICKETS
Discounted competitor lift tickets as well as discounted tickets for your immediate family are available through the online ticketing store. Tickets are valid for March 14th only. If you are purchasing multiple tickets, you must purchase one at a time. Your sales order confirmation will include a QR code for you to print your ticket at the Pickup Boxes located outside all our ticket offices. Click here for Pickup Box locations.
Tickets will be available to purchase online starting Tuesday, March 12th, 2024. To redeem competitor and discounted family lift tickets please refer to the competition email with outlined instructions.
IKON PASS
If you already have a pass that is valid at Aspen Snowmass then you do not need to do anything. Complimentary coach passes will be issued at check in. Coaches that are not eligible for the complimentary passes can use the Friends and Family rate voucher. The main IKON pass is valid at Aspen Highlands but requires a reservation in advance. Bring your IKON pass to save time. IKON Base & Session passes are not valid.
MANDATORY ATHLETE/COACHES MEETING
The athlete and coaches meeting will be at 8am near the base of the Exhibition lift.
TEAM APP
During the event we will be using Stack Team App to share event info, updates, start lists and results. The app is free to join and available to anyone with a smartphone. To get the full features of this app please go to the App Store or Google Play and download Stack Team App onto your mobile device, then follow these simple steps:
1. Sign-up to Stack Team App. You'll be sent an e-mail to activate your account.
2. Log-in and search for 2024 Aspen Snowmass IFSA JR2*, then request to become a member.
PARKING
Paid Parking is available in the Aspen Highlands Base Village Garage. Weekday rates are $6/hour up to a max of $30. Pull ticket and use at EXIT. Keep ticket(s) in a safe place. Lost tickets are subject to a $100 fee.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
The competition venue is located in a remote area without access to any concessions. We recommend that everyone bring a backpack with water, snacks and anything else you think you might need for the day.
